Covid-19 Update

Wellies & Windbreaks is delighted to be welcoming you to the Witterings. Since restrictions were lifted on over night stays away from home in July 2020, our number one priority is to reassure you that we are doing all that is required to ensure you feel safe and secure in our holiday homes.

CLEANING PROTOCOLS

A risk assessment has been carried out for each individual property and industry approved cleaning standards adopted. All our cleaning teams will follow strict cleaning protocols, will clean to a check list and will clean with BioHygiene, a virucidal disinfecting agent certified for EN 14476. GUEST PROTOCOLS

Whilst restrictions have been lifted for now, the coronavirus threat will be with us for a while yet and some new guest protocols have been introduced to ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests and cleaning staff. The document below will be issued to all guests the week before they arrive for their holiday.

It is important during a stay away from home that all guests still continue to take particular care to maintain excellent hygiene – washing hands and surfaces – and avoiding using shared facilities like bathrooms wherever possible. Wellies & Windbreaks advise guests to bring their own hand sanitiser, but has provided hand soap at every sink and basin in its holiday properties. Guests should be as vigilant about hygiene and social distancing as they would be at the present time in their own home environment. Not only will this protect the guests and clean staff but it will also protect the local community in The Witterings.

Wellies & Windbreaks is engaged with the NHS Track and Trace scheme so we ask that you download the NHS COVID-19 App onto your phone and scan the QR code which you will find on an A4 laminated sheet on the fridge in the property where you are staying.  Each of the maximum of six guests should do this please.  If you can’t find the QR code please email at amanda@welliesandwindbreaks.co.uk

CANCELLATION POLICY

In these uncertain times, Wellies & Windbreaks seeks to reassure all guests that should a lockdown be reintroduced that covers the dates of your holiday, you will receive a full refund (less a £15 administrative fee.) Our full exceptional COVID cancellation policy is detailed below:

We had a wonderful stay here. Four adults and one baby. The house was excellent, and everything that you needed was provided. It is in a great location within walking distance of the sea at Bosham. A very good pub, cafe and craft centre can be found there. At the end of the road is a hotel with an excellent restaurant. The agent Amanda went above and beyond. Anything you needed was sorted out immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend this property
