About the Property
Number Six is a stylish and charming family holiday home set right in the heart of the picturesque village of Bosham. Beautifully decorated throughout in a ‘coastal’ style, Number Six is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing break.
Downstairs is entirely open plan save for the hallway and downstairs cloakroom. The open plan sitting / kitchen / dining room is flooded with natural light through bi-fold doors on two sides of the room. The house is surrounded by a small patio garden complete with tables, chairs and a BBQ for guests. High walls ensure total privacy but still enable light to flood into the house. In summer the bi-folds allow the outside in and in the winter, guests can close the curtains and cosy up in front of the wood-burning stove.
The small garden is completely secure which is great for those with pets. Dogs are welcomed at the property but we request that you clear up after them in the garden and that they are not allowed upstairs or on the soft furnishings downstairs.
The three bedrooms upstairs are light and simply decorated in neutral tones. With two doubles and a twin the house comfortably sleeps six so is ideal for one to two families. The master bedroom enjoys and en-suite shower plus there is a family bathroom with bath and over bath shower.
Bosham is a quaint village steeped in history and is situated on Chichester Harbour which provides wonderful walking and lovely pubs and tea rooms. There is always something going on at Bosham Quay, in the summer sailing boats setting off or coming home, and in the winter amazing bird life and wonderful sunsets keep artists and photographers coming back time after time. The National Trust property Quay Meadow is an ideal place to have a picnic and watch the action.
The race course at Goodwood is nearby on the South Downs. The Downs have recently been made into a National Park and the various walks and views from the top are well worth the effort.
The beautiful unspoiled sandy beach at West Wittering, popular with kite-surfers, wind-surfers, as well as the less energetic, is a short drive away.
