Quiet bolthole near the beach for large family gathering.
Our family had a lovely time staying at No24, in a quiet location within walking distance to the pebbly beach (perfect for the run to the sunset) and close to the village of East Wittering, with lots of shops to potter round. We did a day out to Chichester and visited the Cathedral which was stunning, only 15 mins away.
The house is brilliant for teens with a garden room to chill in, and ping pong table in another room and having accommodation on two floors really helps with the feeling of space when visiting with a large group.
Wellies and Windbreaks were very attentive and responsive, all round a brilliant stay and would highly recommend!
Thanks for having us :o)

Wonderful week with the family
The house is beautifully clean and the bathrooms are nicely fitted out. Comfortable beds with fresh crisp cotton bedding made for a good sleep after all the sea air ! Great location....a few minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the pub, restaurants and local shops. Breakfast at the Boulevard is delicious, the local butchers and delicatessen kept us well catered for and cakes from the bakers made tea time a treat !
A trampoline in the secure garden was a big hit with my little Grandaughter and the outside garden seating was great for all the guests. We had the best weather of the summer...the September heatwave...sun every day so it was a perfect holiday , enjoyed by us all and we would love to return to Number 24.

For us completely perfect
We had 18 days in Number Twenty-four, it is our second stay in this property and it didnt disappoint this time round either. Some very major upgrades had been done resulting in both bathrooms being supersmart and efficient. The accommodation is spacious for all 7 of us and the newly added garden room gave the children a den to use as a tv room and for one of our family members to work from home for a few days. Everything about the property is wonderful, the location is perfect for us being slightly set back from the beach which we like and with ample car parking. We had a few little things that needed sorting out and W&W were straight on to it and sorted it quickly and to 100% satisfaction. They are fantastic at responding to any communications you send them. Cant wait for our 2024 holiday!

Enjoyable stay
We had a lovely time again despite the weather. The facilities and location are excellent. We had a major problem with the W/Fi. It was perfect last year and four of our party intended to work from home but because of the problem two had to go home after the weekend. A little problem lots of glass cooking dishes but no lids for the microwave. Thanks for a nice stay.

Really loved our stay at Number Twentyfour. Dog friendly which is 100% perfect for us as we have 2 very well behaved dogs who also absolutely love the beach at the witterings. Weve stayed at a few houses with the help of the amazing Amanda, and although this has no sea view, it has a great location very central to all our needs, and only 5mins away for the beginning of our 20k a day steps walk from east to west and back again complete beach walk! Master the tides, am and pm and your clock up the 20k steps on witterings beautiful, flat sand thats goes on for miles and miles!! Then grab a well deserved bite at the Boulevard or a cold beer in the pub, steps away from the beach and 5mins back to Number Twenty Four. Perfect!!! We will be back this house is large and very well equipped, plenty of room for large families. Good sized garden catching the ?? spacious for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs!

Easter break
We had a fantastic break at Number Twenty Four. There were 5 adults, 4 kids and a dog and the house and garden were more than big enough to accommodate us all. With a 2min walk to the beach and close proximity to East Wittering shops everything was very easy. The house was exceptionally clean even with allowing pets it smelt and looked fresh and clean. The garden room was a real bonus and the kids were never out of the hot tub. I would definitely return.

An excellent house for Grandparents , Children and Granchildren
We have been going to number 24 for a number of years . The position of the house is perfect - 3 minutes to the beach but sheltered from the windy coast . Only 5 mins to the village and a safe walk for the children . Also the beach is starting to increase in size and a walk to West Wittering at low tide is stunning . iIs fairly easy at high tide !! The house is wonderful for our family ranging from 3 ys to 75 !! . Amanda responds to any questions instantly and is constructive and extremely helpful . We spent every holiday during our childhood in Wittering and have now completed 17 years with the grandchildren , many of them with Amanda . The lay out of the house suits a mixed group as its possible to put a child to bed and have a joyous evening with the rest of the group !! Thank you Amanda

An excellent property with the added bonus of being able to add on use of a hot tub. A beautifully decorated, spacious property in a great location. Booking was very easy and Amanda was very proactive and personable on email. The only point of feedback being although controlled by a NEST system, the upstairs of the house was on the chillier side. A very small snag therefore Id highly recommend!

Fantastic house and location for families or groups, only slightly let down by cleanliness
We had a fantastic stay at 24 Southcote Avenue.
The house is lovely and has a great open living space which is far bigger than it appears on the pictures. Added to that are bonuses such as the table tennis table and the south facing garden with some great outdoor furniture (even a warm shower for sandy feet).
The location is also excellent with the pebble beach of East Wittering less than a 5 minute walk away, and further along the coast only a 30 min walk across the beach is sandy West Wittering.
Also within a 5 minute walk are a couple of shops and pubs/quirky restaurants.
One small gripe was the cleanliness of the house, the bedding was great and fresh but it seemed as though the floor had not been cleaned for weeks and the plates/cutlery were also quite dirty. Not a huge deal but left a small blemish on an otherwise perfect stay.

A great holiday in the Witterings with easy access to beach and local shops.
No 24 is in easy walking distance of the beach and local shops. Practical family accommodation. The beds, linen and towels were
First class. Very grateful that Amanda arranged repairs to the trampoline which meant that we had two happy grandsons. Only mild disappointment was the television - controls temperamental and intermittent signal. Not a problem last week which was sunny most of the time. Points for electric razors and toothbrushes would be a useful addition in the future. To conclude we were more than happy with our week at No 24 and would stay there again.

Excellent location
Lovely house, fully equipped including a cot and high chair for toddlers. Mostly disable friendly but with a difficult step into the property and also on the decking outside. The downstairs is all flat laminate flooring which my dogs found a bit tricky to walk on and my elderly lab kept slipping bless her. Beds comfy but didn't like the feather pillows as I'm allergic so had to swap some.
Garden is medium size but plenty big enough for my dogs to sunbathe in.
There is a trampoline for kids. Couldn't use the table tennis as this room is very cluttered and used for storage.
The location is really good with a 2 min walk to the beach and 5 mins to the shops. The boulevard restaurant serves lovely food and welcomes dogs in their outside seating area.
All together a good break away and most importantly the dogs loved it.

We had a long weekend at Number 24 a beautifully proportioned chalet bungalow with large gardens and decked patio with comfortable seating for 10! Set in quiet surroundings and just a 2 minute walk of East Wittering beach and pubs, restaurants and shops!
Fabulous comfy sofas to spread out on two large bathrooms and a loo with fabulous bedrooms on the ground floor a double and twin. On the first floor a large double room with velux window to catch the stars and listen to the sound of the sea! Lovely comfortable house in a good location
I stayed in Number Twenty Four for a week with my husband, children and grandchildren. The house is very comfortable and in a great location - being very near East Wittering town and shops and just two minutes to the beach. The long sandy beach of West Wittering is also easily walkable along the beach, should you wish to. The house was clean and welcoming with all you would need for your stay, including plenty of suitable kitchen pots, pans and dishes - very important if you are a large group. Plenty of nice big towels too! The garden was great for our five young grandchildren with a big trampoline - which was put to very good use!!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at number 24. Fantastic position for beach and shops/restaurants (5 mins to both). Its a little further to walk to the sandy beach at West Wittering (at least 25mins) and we found we were happier sat on chairs on the pebbles just 2 mins walk away from the house. A quick amazon purchase for a blow up SUP made for a fabulous time in the sea and we had the most amazing weather. When it was a little windy on the beach number 24's garden was a perfect place to chill out. The restaurants and cafes in East wittering were great. Fabulous butchers and greengrocers and a tesco express and co-op for the other bits and bobs. We only used the car one day to head to chichester for the afternoon so really felt like you were on holiday. We would definitely return.

How we experienced our stay as a family.
The Facilities, generally, were good. The upstairs shower needs serious attention as it kept blocking and overflowing despite our
efforts with Drainclear. The garage was unswept , full of slaters and leaves and the door had to be barred to stop it rattling. The barbecue was broken, covered in fungus and unuseable. The front door was very stiff to open and needs attention. Kitchen, Utility room, garden and TV/DVD were good.

Was all we anticipated and more !
This was a very special year for myself and my husband and part of our celebrations was bringing together three generations for a family holiday - so we were looking for special accommodation and Number 24 did not disappoint. The layout was ideal and the house was comfortable and well equipped and clean ( thank you again the cleaning team) .
The location was perfect for us; with the weather generally sunny and warm so we could take full advantage of the local attractions, the beaches, trips to the Mary Rose and the Downland Museum and the West Dean gardens and 'chilli festival' . But at the end of the day it was a pleasure to return to No. 24 for a barbecue or just feet up in the garden with a glass of something chilled.
The only complaint from my elder daughter was that the downstairs double mattress was a little uncomfortable - probably read ' the princess and the pea' fairytale too often but this was a minor blemish on an otherwise wonderful holiday.
And thank you Amanda for your clear and helpful communication - we hope to holiday with Windbreaks and Wellies in the future.

Home away from home
Very clean and spacious house which was ideal for us 6 - grandparents, son and 3 teenage boys. Boys very impressed with trampoline and games room. Beds comfortable and bedrooms roomy. Definite advantage to have 3 toilets especially with 3 boys who do not like queueing! Having a second fridge/freezer in the laundry room was very handy too. This house has been well thought out and we are all looking forward to next year. The only let down was the weather but that cannot be changed to suit!!

Very happy Wittering regulars
We have been coming to Wittering with our children and grandchildren for 12years. Finding this venue has made the week perfect. Amanda has thought of everything - outside warm shower - no worry of sand in house ! A BEAUTIFUL house and so easy for 70yr olds and 8yr olds . Whatever the weather we love the week. I think we will be coming in the May half term for years to come as long as its available. The family will not tire of coming together in such lovely surroundings.
The only thing we find hard is clearing a large number of people and all the stuff out by 10am in the morning. It was so hard one family left the night before rather than getting up very early before their journey home.

This was a very special year for myself and my husband and part of our celebrations was bringing together three generations for a family holiday – so we were looking for special accommodation and Number 24 did not disappoint. Thank you Amanda for your clear and helpful communication – we hope to holiday with Windbreaks and Wellies in the future
Guest at Sherkin
What a lovely big house. We loved our stay at Sherkin. Lovely position, very central to everything which made everything so simple. Beautiful wittering Beaches 100m. Pet friendly which was a bonus. We are going to miss our daily dog walks so most definitely going to book again. Amanda and Angela were brilliant looking after us. Thank you.
Guest at Beachcomber
This is the second time we have stayed in Beachcomber. It is a very specious and well equipped house and the location is excellent. The response to any queries or help is swift. It’s everything you need for a great family holiday.

Amanda is such a pleasure to deal with. She is super efficient and nothing is too much bother. Whether its taking bookings, dealing with cleaners or other management aspects, Amanda is incredibly quick to get onto things and never lets anything drop. Always on. And always with a smile!
Guest at Pebbles West Wittering
We stayed at Pebbles in West Wittering with our 18-month-old and it might be the best staycation we’ve ever done. We will 100% be returning. We’ve never stayed anywhere this well equipped - it has everything you need and definitely feels like a home from home. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, super clean and the kitchen has anything you could need from a dishwasher to cling film to coffee machine. Our son was entertained the whole time with the toys provided inside and outside, which made our stay that bit easier for us and more special for him. The location is brilliant, with an easy flat walk to the beach and close to the little shops. We can’t believe we’ve never actually visited West Wittering before - the beach is amazing! Now we have somewhere we love to stay, we’ll certainly be back here!
Guest at Sunny View
