Because there is so much about the area that we want you to enjoy when you visit, the Wellies & Windbreaks team has created a Local’s Guide to the Area. Please download this pdf guide and enjoy all of our recommendations.
All of our holiday homes are located in the Manhood Peninsula, the little-known name for this West Sussex coastal enclave just south of Chichester. Famous for its white sandy blue-flag beach at West Wittering, the area has long been a popular family holiday destination and magnet for surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing enthusiasts. The seaside villages of East Wittering and Bracklesham Bay are popular with families and are well served with many beachfront rentals and a great selection of shops and restaurants. Sailing opportunities are also abundant in Chichester Harbour and the numerous sailing clubs in the estuary, including Bosham and Itchenor.
There really is something for everyone in the area; culture and heritage at Chichester’s Festival Theatre and Cathedral; bird watching at the RSPB’s Medmerry Nature Reserve; dog walking or simply having fun jumping off the sand dunes at the National Trust’s East Head; or enjoying the thrills and highlights at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, Goodwood Festival or the Estate’s new pet friendly event, Goodwoof.
As well as an in depth knowledge of the local area our team knows each and every one of our properties inside out. Let us take the stress out of finding the right holiday home for you, call Amanda on 07816 281016 to discuss your requirements and we’ll find you the perfect holiday.
