From 2 to 72 years old, always loved the coast here and never been for more than one day. Wellies & Windbreaks opened up the option of a short stay in a private seaside home without the uncertainties you fear from AIRBNB’s occasional bad press.
The property was perfectly described and the images online reflected just what we found – so no disappointments. The whole house was just what we had hoped for – modern, clean, very well decorated and furnished with quality products including linen from John Lewis, cutlery from Marks & Spencer, and all the crockery and glassware we needed. Close enough to the sea you could see it through the houses opposite. The Hot Tub was amazing. Very comfortable throughout and safe.

We had such a wonderful week at Moonfleet. Walking distance to the Goat cafe, Billy’s on the beach and Stone and Skillet for great pizza. The property was very clean and well equipped, very comfortable beds and a great garden for our little girl. Communication was great from the moment we booked and check in/out was very easy. Lots of great little touches such as kids toys and puzzles, an information book of the local area and a stock of dishwasher tablets and washing powder.
Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

This was a last minute decision to take a break in the Witterings for Easter – and we are so delighted we made it! I totally recommend Moonfleet to a family who are looking for a house that will give them the location (within a minute from the beach, round the corner from excellent coffee and restaurants, and a 15 min walk to East Wittering shops), super comfortable, stylish and clean living accommodation with very comfy beds, and a few little sun-traps for those relaxation moments. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Lovely house in a great location so close to the beach. Really well appointed with outdoor space as well. The dogs loved the garden. Highly recommend this for a stay at any time.

Great location close to the water as well as a few good coffee and food spots. The shops of East Wittering are accessible via a walk or a very quick drive. West wittering beach is also a short trip away. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the seaside including kids books, puzzles and toys.

The balcony is great and you can hear the sea which always help us relax but importantly when the doors are closed, the road facing bedrooms are insulated from any road noise – not that there is much.

All in all a highly recommended space that makes both adults and children feel at home.

Really enjoyed our stay at Moonfleet . Property had all we needed for a relaxing stay esp the hot tub and large television ! The position was excellent for the beach. Small points but bbq could do with some large tongs ( but maybe we missed them ?) and we were unable to reduce the temp on the upstairs shower ( not a problem as bottom shower was excellent). Also we noticed some of the stitching is coming away from the hot tub cover and maybe worth repairing before it gets worse. Great break . Many thanks Paul

We loved our stay at moon fleet – the house is clean and very comfortable and the location is fantastic. Moments to the stunning beach and we could hear the waves at nighttime. A great place for dog walking. We were lucky with the weather but still used the wood burner at night so the house is cozy too.

Second time staying in this property. It’s a great location and a very comfortable and social house. We love it.

Lovely beach break. Not quite on the beach but just across the road. House is immaculate and has all home comforts. Spotless! Garden is perfect when not out walking on the beach, a lovely sun trap! Would certainly consider going back!

It was a lovely property with great decor and just the right amount of basics. Great location and hot tub was a great addition. A must for us was the electric vehicle charger. What a bonus to be able to charge on arrival. Thanks for a great stay. Great customer service too, in touch as soon as we needed it and z note to say when house was ready.

The house is in a great location to access all the benefits of the Witterings. We walked and cycled with our kids along the beach to West Wittering. We walked to the fantastic beachside cafe and went to a restaurant East Whittering. We took a great bike ride on the saldron way with our two 5 year old boys Salterns Way, to Itchenor, Chic ester Harbor. Very quick feedback from the customer service team and everything was as expected on arrival. Most importantly comfy bed and epic TV and fire.

We had a great time staying at Moonfleet. The house is the perfect size, well equipped, with a nice garden and balcony, we loved it. Beach is right across the street and Billy’s restaurant, as well as the GOAT cafe are only a block away.. perfect.
