An extremely popular property in the Wellies & Windbreaks portfolio, Beachcomber sleeps ten in five bedrooms with three bathrooms. It's location is fantastic, just 200m from the beach and a couple of minutes’ walk into East Wittering Village.
The flexibility of the bedrooms in the property add to its appeal as each room has zip and link beds which can be made up as either a super king or two single beds. Please message your preferred layout of the bedrooms when booking.

The stylish and modern open plan living and dining area, plus well quipped and modern kitchen on the ground floor, is flooded with natural light and really is the heart of the home. Full-width bi-fold doors open out onto a lovely garden with lush greenery, small lawn for the kids to play and a large patio space – perfect for a BBQ and sundowners on a warm summers evening. The open plan living space has two separate seating areas, one centered around the TV and the other tucked into a cosy corner with wood burning stove - a fabulous spot to relax with a book and cuppa!
The master bedroom can be found on the ground floor at the back of the property. The vaulted ceiling and picture window make the room light and bright, plus patio doors offer direct access out onto the garden. The bedroom also features an ensuite with large shower and a walk-in wardrobe.
Two more bedrooms can be found on the ground floor at the front of the property and share a family bathroom with shower over bath. Upstairs are two more bright and spacious bedrooms that have been tastefully decorated and share a shower room. The large picture window in the back bedroom is a fantastic feature and fills the room with natural light.
Beachcomber is well located for both the buzz of East Wittering and the beach. A short walk east and you’ll reach the village with shops, restaurants and surf cafes. If it’s the beach you’re after, you’ll only have to walk a few minutes to East Wittering and if you keep heading west, you’ll soon reach the white sands of West Wittering.
There is off-street parking on the drive for up to 4 cars.

A long weekend with family
We needed somewhere to stay in the area as we were attending a wedding. Beachcomber was the perfect find, ideal for the whole family and a wonderful place to welcome the New Year in. The property is within a 5 minute walk of East Wittering beach and all the shops and restaurants and an easy coastal walk to the sandy beach of West Wittering. Highly recommend.

Weekend at Beachcomber
Stayed here with my parents and extended family for 60th diamond wedding gathering.
Place was great and spacious.
Awful rain storm causing skylight to leak but that didn’t ruin the weekend.
Expensive for the short duration but had a great time .

A very pleasant family holiday ( there we’re 8 of us) in a nice spacious house. A washing up bowl would be useful. Couldn’t find any coasters.
Otherwise, all facilities and equipment were fine.

A great place to stay in West Wittering
Beachcomber is a spacious and.comfortable property, which is in an excellent location - just a few minutes from the beach and shops. There was plenty of room for our family group comprising eight adults and two boys. The driveway accommodated our four cars and the secluded garden was a lovely place to relax after a day out. Feeding the fish was an added bonus! We’d be happy to stay here again.

Wonderful Stay Again
This house has everything that you need for a great family holiday. Location is perfect and the accommodation is so spacious and comfortable. This was our third time here and once again we had an amazing stay. We have never been disappointed with any of our stays booked with Wellies and Windbreaks.

Excellent little break
We had a really lovely stay at Beachcomber. It’s perfectly equipped for 10 people and the dog, the lovely open planned layout meant we could all be together. Didn’t venture out onto the garden but it looked lovely. Really well invested holiday home - state of the art kitchen appliances, heating system user friendly layout with more than enough facilities. The only mild drawback was that the heating system was a bit complicated so took a while to get the hang of. Having said that, we’d definitely go back again

Lovely house
Our group (7 adults and one toddler) had a great time at Beachcombers. The set up was great - the singles in our group particularly appreciated the super king beds, and the wood burner made a lovely focal point. Easy walk (for the adults) to both East and West Wittering beach too - I'd suggest a baby carrier or backpack for small ones.

Excellent stay at Beachcomber
We stayed at Beachcomber just after Christmas and loved it. We stayed with our kids (4 and 10) and my mum and sister so made full use of the 5 bedrooms. The location is great (5 mins walk from the stoney East Wittering beach and less than 5 mins drive to the sandy West Wittering beach, plus only 5 mins walk from East Wittering which had a Tesco, a Co-Op plus a few cafes and a pub) and the facilities were brilliant. It rained a lot on our stay but the spacious living/dining/kitchen room was absolutely brilliant.

Happy memories of a fabulous holiday
Well, what a fabulous house ,so spacious and yet homely, from when you walked through the door you knew that you were going to have a great holiday there. No internal steps on the ground floor made mobility issues so much easier for my father and my little grandaughter. The kitchen area is a great space and well equipped , the beds are comfortable with fresh cotton bedding and the garden is enclosed and private with a large table and seating.
A short walk away is the village with all the shops you need and the beach and pub and good restaurant ...perfect ! We all loved our time there and want to return next year....it had it all for us and happy times and memories were made.

Great location
We had a comfortable stay although the house felt a bit small for 5 adults and three children.
We had cleaning issues… patio was covered in birds poo, needed sweeping, patio doors were really dirty, kitchen units were not clean and utensils still had bits of food on them. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean though.

Another wonderful family holiday
This is the second time we have stayed at Beachcomber. The house is beautiful, very well set up with everything you need. It is also just like a family home so is very comfortable. We are a family of 10 and have been coming to East Wittering for years - we all love it from the youngest grandchild to the eldest grandpa!

Family week at Beachcomber
We had a fantastic week with the family at May half term. The accommodation suited us perfectly, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms clean and there was plenty of living space complete with books and games for all ages. When we had a problem with the freeze and informed our Wellies and Windbreaks’ contact, this was dealt with quickly and we were given another freezer, which was excellent service. It was a short walk to the beach and the village with all the shops and restaurants we required.

2 minutes stroll to a wonderful sandy beach
Lovely house with plenty of space and yet cosy. The layout was perfect for our needs. Downstairs a bedroom and bathroom a little removed from the other bedrooms, perfect for those wanting a little extra privacy. 2 further downstairs bedrooms with a bathroom and 2 upstairs bedrooms with a bathroom. All of good size.
Enclosed and private garden with BBQ and pizza oven and outdoor furniture. A little sun trap when the sun decides to shine!
Plenty of utensils, plates, mugs and dishes which made cooking so much easier.
A glorious beach just a few minutes walk away where we enjoyed long walks each day. The walk to and around East Head is lovely (4 / 4.5 miles). We also caught the bus into Chichester (number 52) with bus stop only 150 metres from the house, enjoyed a visit to the cathedral, a light lunch (plenty of options) and then walked back (approx 10 miles) initially along the canal and then cross country. The end of the walk brought us back to within 50 metres of the bus stop we had used earlier in the day.

Windy break a stone's throw from the sea
As my Godfather commented, 'it's rare that you get Sabatier knives in a holiday house'! The Sabatier knife was a small indicator of the attention to detail and lovely environment created at Beachcomber. Wonderful house - lots of light and space, and all very well equipped. And it's only 1,000 feet from the beach.

Great location, lovely family home
House was fantastic, great location and suited our family superbly. Beds were very comfy and the house had great amenities.
If I could fault anything, the windows hadn’t been cleaned properly including the huge bifold doors which we had to clean ourselves, also a few cobwebs in the bedroom. Blinds in upstairs kept coming away from the wall when they were shut.The house has recently been renovated which was present as front garden still had concrete slabs lying around, does seem a little bit of a rush job towards the end to get people in.
Regardless of this the house was fantastic and a lovely area for a staycation.

Perfect holiday house for our family.

Beachcomber is situated near the beach and is a great place to stay for a wonderful family holiday. Accommodation is spacious, modern and very clean. We really didn’t want to leave as we had a truly carefree holiday with everything we needed supplied.
You are well looked after by Wellies n Windbreaks too, seems a very caring set up.

Superb House
We've just returned from the most amazing week in West Wittering. Beachcomber was the perfect family house, with comfortable beds, great entertaining space, a beautiful garden and in walking distance to the beach. We all had a ball - dogs included and will definitely be back.

We stayed at Pebbles in West Wittering with our 18-month-old and it might be the best staycation we’ve ever done. We will 100% be returning. We’ve never stayed anywhere this well equipped - it has everything you need and definitely feels like a home from home. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, super clean and the kitchen has anything you could need from a dishwasher to cling film to coffee machine. Our son was entertained the whole time with the toys provided inside and outside, which made our stay that bit easier for us and more special for him. The location is brilliant, with an easy flat walk to the beach and close to the little shops. We can’t believe we’ve never actually visited West Wittering before - the beach is amazing! Now we have somewhere we love to stay, we’ll certainly be back here!
