Admiralty Cottage is a characterful, period property situated in the heart of East Wittering village close to shops, cafes, and the beach front. The cottage was recently renovated throughout but maintains all of its charm and original features. Sleeping four guests in two bedrooms, you will find everything you need in Admiralty Cottage to enjoy a break in the Witterings.
Originally built as one of the coastguards’ cottages, this home has been lovingly cared for and offers a cosy yet fresh space to enjoy. Off the entrance hall at the front of the property, you will find a bright reception room with TV and a feature fireplace and log burner. Perfect for those chilly winter days.
The well-equipped open-plan kitchen diner, also on the ground floor, offers direct access outside onto a small private garden with lawn, patio seating and BBQ to enjoy on a warm summer’s day.
Upstairs you will find the large master bedroom, originally the lookout for the coastguards, which has been beautifully decorated and is full of period features. From the original fireplace to the four-poster king-size bed, this space oozes luxury. The second bedroom to the back was once the coastguards map room and offers additional sleeping for two. Whilst the bunk beds are queen size in width, they’re slightly shorter than normal and therefore are not suitable for adults over 5’6 – we would recommend this used only by children. Both rooms share the modern bathroom upstairs and there is an additional WC downstairs.
Small but perfectly formed, Admiralty Cottage is furnished to a very high standard. With shops and café’s right on your doorstep and just a 5-minute walk to the beach, it’s the perfect base for a couple or small family looking to enjoy East Wittering and it’s surroundings.
There is off-road parking to the rear of the property for two cars. Please note that Admiralty Cottage is not pet friendly.
