A visit to West Sussex is not complete without a day at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Home to three of the most important warships ever built; Henry VIII’s Tudor masterpiece, the Mary Rose; Nelson’s famous flagship The HMS Victory and The HMS Warrior, the largest and most powerful warship of her time and the jewel in Queen Victoria’s naval crown.
A visit to the Dockyard takes you on a journey through time, allowing you to step onboard historic ships and understand the Royal Navy, past, present and future. There is plenty to do for the whole family with activities that appeal to all ages.
