Beira Mar is a contemporary beach front family holiday home. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms it sleeps eight guests, making it ideal for two families to share.

Comprising of:

Bedroom 1: King size bed, with en-suite shower room
Bedroom 2: Twin beds
Bedroom 3: Twin beds
Bedroom 4: Double bed

Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and enjoys breathtaking views of the beach and sea beyond. It has its own balcony and an en-suite shower room. The two bedrooms to the rear sleep a further four guests. Both rooms have twin beds but could be pushed together to make a double if preferable (note only single bed linen though). There is also a family bathroom upstairs with bath and over bath shower.

Downstairs a fourth bedroom has a double bed and enjoys use of the shower room next door.

The large open plan kitchen / living / dining room downstairs is spacious and well equipped; a great area for entertaining the whole family. The bifold doors open out onto the decked and lawned garden, with direct beach access.

Beira Mar is pet friendly and both the rear and beachside gardens are secure. We welcome your pets but just ask that you respect our pet friendly rules and do not allow them upstairs or on any of the downstairs soft furnishings. Please also ensure that you clear up after them in the garden.

The property is in a superb beach front location in the quiet private residential estate of Coney Six. The village of East Wittering and all of its shops and restaurants is just a five minute walk away and the local beach front gem of a restaurant, Billys on the Beach, is just a ten minute walk down the beach towards Bracklesham Bay.

The property has space for up to three cars in the bay at the front of the house. Please respect the parking boundary. The house is a semi detached property and the space to the left of the brick line on the drive is for the neighbour.

Beira Mar is incredibly well equipped for a holiday rental. It is the perfect place for families and friends to get together at any time of the year for a seaside holiday.

Positive and Negative

The location was superb. The house was well equipped kitchen wise and very clean. We had a lovely long weekend with family and the sun shone. However, the 2 single beds upstairs on the left were not comfortable as you could feel the springs. Also the bedroom downstairs was very small ( this may not be a huge issue but for the cost of the rental it is). I also think for the cost of the rental that a welcome pack should be provided. It is just such a welcoming touch on arrival especially after a long journey.

Wonderful stay

It is the second time I have stayed at Beira Mar. We had a wonderful time even though the weather was terrible. I came with my 2 daughters & their teenage boys . They loved the property & how near it was to the beach. We bought a kite & the boys had great fun with it on the windy beach. We had all we needed the house was well equipped & had comfy beds. Will be coming again .

Lovely stay by the sea

We have just returned from our stay at Beira Mar with 8 friends and 2 dogs, had such a great time and the house provided everything we needed, the beach is literally at the end of the garden and it provided a great location for our morning swin (yes even in March we braved it). Kitchen provided everything we needed as we ate in every night, it was great that there were 3 bathrooms so no long queues for the bathroom. Bedrooms comfy and clean as were the bathrooms. The one thing I would recommend is that an outside hot shower is provided to so that people could shower off the salt and sand before entering the property that would be a game changer, other than that the house was perfect and we all thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend there. Lovely stay......

New Year Break

My family and I really enjoyed our New Years stay at Beira Mar. The house was clean, comfortable and in a fabulous location. We loved the fully stocked kitchen and the wonderful bedrooms. We had a fantastic view from the master bedroom. The house was dog friendly with secure gardens front and back of the property. We will definitely return and highly recommend to others.

Lovely Xmas break

Our second time to Beira Mar. Great location , literally on the beach . Very comfortable home. Good facilities , appliances and equipment. Good size bedrooms and bathrooms. Fabulous to wake up and look at the sea, even though it was stormy! Convenient to East Wittering village and a short drive to West Wittering . Huge sandy beach for the dogs to run around on. Alison is a great person to communicate with .

Another Great Stay at Beira Mar

This was our second time staying at Beira Mar. Once again, we had a magical experience with the weather very much on our side. The property was spacious and had everything we needed to relax, with plenty of equipment for us to cook, but also plenty of places, just a short walk away, to eat out. East Wittering and the surrounding villages offer plenty of things to do, with great pubs and restaurants, interesting shops and local attractions. To wake up in the morning and be able to look out on the beach, a blue sea and the Isle of Wight beyond is something truly special. As always, the Wellies & Windbreaks Team, made sure that everything was ready for our stay and enjoying a weekend full of wonderful memories was the end result. Looking forward to another stay at some point in the near future.

Beachside stay

Spent a lovely week in BM. The house is perfectly sited for the beach but also to weather watch in stormy weather. Extremely well equipped white goods. Thanks to the staff who were really understanding of and flexible to the needs of our learning disabled daughter.

A lovely week in Biera Mar

This is our 3rd visit to this house in 3 years. Lovely garden for pets with a gate directly onto the beach. Well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom facilities. Short walk into town. If there was one thing that could be improved it would be the sofas as these are at the end of their life but that is a minor point. The house has parking for 3 cars, front and rear gardens. Lovely master suite with en suite showroom, 2 twin bedded rooms and family bathroom on the 1st floor. Small Double bedroom on the ground floor with shower room. The house suits our needs totally so we have rebooked again for next July

A special family time

My family and myself returned to East Wittering having had a wonderful time last year in a Wellies and Windbreak rental. This year Beira Mar was just as good. Beautifully situated right on the beach and from the main bedroom upstairs, a wonderful view of the sea. Although the weather was not very good, the house was large enough for us all not to be on top of each other when inside. The TV was a great size so we all loved watching Wimbledon from the comfortable sofas and chair. The kitchen had everything we needed in it and the proximity of the shops made our meals very easy. The fridge/freezer was a good size for us and all equipment such as oven, microwave and coffee maker much appreciated. The beds were so comfortable and linen provided was just right. It would have been nice perhaps, to have a chair in the larger bedrooms to put your clothes on at night? The white painted staircase made me anxious about the paint getting chipped but it appeared sturdy! The bathrooms were beautifully equipped and the showers excellent. All in all, a lovely time in a great house by the sea.

On the Beach

If you love being by the sea, Beira Mar is a great place to go. Right on the beach, and a short walk from shops, pubs and restaurants makes it almost perfect for a relaxing holiday. We had the bonus of great weather while there, which ensured we had a great holiday. Beira Mar also benefits from being on a private estate, so it is quiet and peaceful. Thoroughly recommended for a relaxing break.

Beira Mar - for a perfect family beach holiday

Beira Mar has everything you need for a wonderful family beach holiday. Safe secure garden leading straight on to the beach, on a quiet private residential street. The house is very well equipped for all your needs and there are plenty of local shops and restaurants to choose from. If you wish to go farther afield there are many sights to see, from Arundel Castle to Chichester and harbour tours and a small passenger ferry to Bosham from Itchenor - this is good for walkers and bikers. If you look closely enough, you may occasionally see seals popping their heads above water just in front of the house and kestrels hovering above the grass banks. We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here.

Beira Mar

The property accommodated four adults and two grandchildren adequately. We enjoyed our stay at Beira Mar despite the weather which provided, on occasion, dramatic seas from the main bedroom window. We did walk along the coastline to West Wittering a few times. When sea sea is out it is possible to walk along the hard mud flats which was really enjoyable. If the sea is in then it is hard going walking on the shingle beach although there is a broken pathway in parts. East Wittering village has a few shops and restaurants, also there is a fisherman’s hut approximately 750 mtrs from the property, along the coast, going towards East Wittering. We bought some delicious skate that had been caught that morning by the fisherman from the local area. We were disappointed not to find a welcome pack on our arrival. Also, the limited supply of toilet rolls provided, one for each of the three toilets, the minimal amount of dish washer and washing machine tablets and to read the request to ‘replace everything we have used’ after payment of a significant rental.

We had a lovely stay at Beira Mar. Great location on beachfront. 10 minutes walk along the beach to the town. Quiet residential area. Great for a break to get away from it all. The house was clean and well presented. Communication was good at all times with Wellies and Windbreaks.

A wonderful stay at the Beira Mar

A lovely xmas week at the Beira Mar. Great location. The lounge looking out onto the garden and the sea was so relaxing. Couldn't have been better. The main bedroom was so comfortable, a great king size bed with a wonderful sea views to wake up to. The lounge was comfortable for us all to gather in for christmas telly viewing and eating. The house had everything including a very safe garden for our dogs. Fab location to go into the village for coffee and shops and a 15 minute drive to a very large Tesco. Plenty of hot water and heating. A great stay. We'll be back next year.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location!

Amanda and Angela were fantastic throughout the whole booking process and leading up to our stay. Great to deal with. Thank you! The house was lovely! Modern, open plan downstairs and everything we needed, from comfy beds and seating downstairs, lots of space throughout the house, ample well appointed bathrooms and all the appliances you could wish for. Another great stay at Beira Mar

This is our second stay at Beira Mar and is a perfect place for a family holiday including Molly the family dog. The accommodation is ideal for all age groups from toddlers to the elderly. Very comfortable and a perfect place to relax. An added bonus is its position not only right on a beautiful quiet beach but also a 5 minute walk to East Wittering High Street with an excellent choice of shops, cafes and restaurants. An Extra Special Beach Weekend in East Wittering

As frequent day visitors to East Wittering, it was great to be able to spend a few days relaxing, exploring and discovering places we'd never seen, or been to, before. Beira Mar was a perfect place to sit and relax and watch the world go by. Well-equipped and very comfortable, it had everything we needed for a wonderful stay (with the weather also on our side for once!) As Beira Mar is pet-friendly too, every member of our family, including our dog, had a totally brilliant weekend, exploring the reasonably quiet and magnificent beach at all hours of the day, from sunrise to sunset and beyond. We even went in for a late evening swim, followed by welcome mugs of hot tea, back on the decking in the garden. The Wellies & Windbreaks Team were really helpful throughout the booking process and in the lead-up to our long weekend in West Sussex. The accompanying app for the property and surrounding area was also incredibly helpful in providing clear instructions and some useful recommendations of places to eat, drink, shop and visit. Have always considered East Wittering beach to be a truly magical place to be and our stay at Beira Mar has helped to make it even more so. Cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

2nd visit to this beach house. Great location right on the beach but close to shops /restaurants as well. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We particularly like the garden which opens directly onto the beach. Parking for 2 cars. Cannot think of any negatives

Great coastal retreat

We very much enjoyed a weekend as two families staying on the beach at this lovely spacious property. Plenty of crockery and cutlery so we didn’t have to wash up every five minutes. The property has step free access from the back/roadside (nb a couple of metres of gravel drive from parking) and a small downstairs bedroom with bathroom opposite, so it would suit some people with limited mobility I expect but not people who needed to position a wheelchair alongside a bed to transfer. Beautiful house thoughtfully arranged for visitors, thank you.

First impressions

First impression was a wow factor. It is a great family holiday home. Sea is at the bottom of the garden and basic comfort has been well thought through. We are on the grandparent spectrum and do appreciate quality of furnishings. This is where Beira Mar did disappoint. The dining chairs are very worn and wobbly, TV is difficult to see from 3-seater sofa with unsightly cabling, pillows old and lumpy, duvets same and too narrow for beds. All other holiday homes we have stayed in provide a welcome pack on arrival to make tea, coffee and a little breakfast. We have left two kitchen rolls. The back garden was untidy and grass needed a mow. Apart from these constructive criticisms we had a lovely stay in excellent weather and would consider booking again in the low season if the price is right.

Beautiful location and property, would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Beira Mar, the location is perfect right on the beachfront. The house was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed visits to Bosham, The Marina, Chichester Cathedral and lots of walks on the beautiful beach.

Wonderful family holiday in perfect location

Ticked all the boxes for a family holiday of 3 generations plus the dog. The accommodation was in an unrivalled position for access to shops and restaurants all in easy walking distance and of course the beach. Very well appointed and comfortable with attention to detail such as nice toiletries in the bathroom. The gardens both at the rear and front of the house were well fenced which was ideal for our dog and also privacy for ourselves. The views from our bedroom balcony were wonderful and it was a lovely place to relax. Looking forward to staying again.

Could not be faulted

We had a really relaxing time at Beira Mar. The house was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were ideal for my 97 year old mother. The view from the master bedroom was amazing. We were blessed with reasonable weather and managed to make good use of the sheltered garden to sunbathe. It was lovely to sit in the garden and see the sea. The location was ideal for East Wittering village, just a few minutes walk away. The village itself was friendly and had everything one would want. The cafe bars offered great food and Bracklesham Bay was just a 15 minute walk away. I am already looking to return!

Great pad by the sea

Beira Mar is a lovely house right on the beach front and only a short walk from East Wittering village. There are amazing big windows letting in lots of light and wonderful views. Those with toddlers - you need to bring a stair gate :-) There's a v good travel cot (big) and a high chair there.

Fantastic week away.

The location was absolutely amazing. Right on the beach with cafes and a fantastic deli a 10 minute stroll away. House was great. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, sofas and beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. The little toiletries and hand wash were a lovely touch.

Clean comfortable home on EW Beach

This is a recently refurbished house so was in great condition when we arrived. The upstairs master bedroom has an amazing view with terrace & ensuite and the two other bedrooms are good with a clean functional shared bathroom. The downstairs bedroom is across the hall from the bathroom with shower. Downstairs the living space worked well and we could all sit around to watch TV in the evenings. The house was clean and quite well equipped in the kitchen. East Wittering has a very functional High Street with Tesco & Co-op; great butchers and greengrocers; and a few more contemporary coffee shops. This was a great place to come for two weeks after lockdown had ended - sea breeze and out of the city.

Wonderful break by the sea

We enjoyed sitting outside & also opening the garden gate for a bracing walk along the beach . The shops cafes etc were only a short walk along the beach . Great bank holiday break

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children ages 6) had a four night stay, over the bank holiday weekend. The house was fantastic and did not disappoint in anyway, new, fresh, clean, beachfront location and walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops - it was everything we wanted.
